SE Polk FFA | Pleasant Hill, IA

  • SE Polk High School 7945 North East University Avenue Pleasant Hill, IA, 50327 United States (map)

The new documentary Farmers For America will be screening for the first time throughout Iowa. The film, narrated by Mike Rowe (Dirty Jobs, Returning the Favor) shares the challenges that young farmers face as they venture forth on the virtuous path of feeding us all. Matthew Eddy, the Ag Ed instructor at SE Polk and member of the National FFA Board will be joining the film's director, Graham Meriwether to participate in conversation about our next agriculture. Our goal is to bring these all perspectives together.

At the center of the film are the farmers, young and old, who provide the spirit and energy to bring urban and rural America together over what both share in common: our food.

The screening is free.

There is room for additional FFA chapters in the area to join.
