Graham has spent years crisscrossing America -- to find the farmers who imbue this film with their hard work and entrepreneurial spirit. Previously, Graham directed American Meat, a pro-farmer story about the burgeoning local food movement and Farmers for America about young people stepping up to feed the rest of us. Meriwether lives on a homestead near Bellows Falls, Vermont with wife, Susan, and children, Abraham and Maya.
Charles Lavoie’s background is in fine art and has worked with Graham on all of his past projects, providing design and still photography. Charles grew up splitting his time between the suburbs of Detroit and a family farm in central Michigan. He has many years of experience in organics recovery with the New York City Compost project and with Red Hook Community farm.
Katey St. John is a Brooklyn-based journalist, video producer, and documentary filmmaker dedicated to storytelling that informs and engages. With a background in journalism and documentary film, she specializes in multi-platform video production, blending compelling visuals with in-depth reporting.
