Film Event: Farmers for America - A Documentary to Celebrate, Inspire, and Support Young Farmers
The new documentary Farmers For America will be screening for the first time in Fairfield, Iowa. The film, narrated by Mike Rowe (Dirty Jobs, Returning the Favor) shares the challenges that young farmers face as they venture forth on the virtuous path of feeding us all. The film's director will be present to moderate a conversation after the film which will feature local farmers of all backgrounds- from small-scale niche production to larger-scale commodity farmers. Our goal is to bring these two perspectives together and forge a shared path towards our next agriculture.
There will be a panel discussion following with Faith Reeves, Francis Thicke and the filmmaker.
