Film Event: Farmers for America - A Documentary to Celebrate, Inspire, and Support Young Farmers

The new documentary Farmers For America will be screening for the first time in Cedar Falls, Iowa in a partnership with the UNI Center for Energy & Environmental Education. The film, narrated by Mike Rowe (Dirty Jobs, Returning the Favor) shares the challenges that young farmers face as they venture forth on the virtuous path of feeding us all. The film's director, Graham Meriwether, will be present to facilitate a conversation after the film which will feature local farmers of all backgrounds- from small-scale niche production to larger-scale commodity farmers. Our goal is to bring these two perspectives together and forge a shared path towards our next agriculture.
