Farish Theater | Lexington, KY

Join us Saturday August 25th for local food, documentary film, and inspiring conversation, presented by the Good Foods Co-op and Kentucky AgrAbility.

We're getting together at the Farish Theater for a special afternoon at the Lexington Public Library.

We’ll kick things off at noon with local food provided by the Good Foods Co-op.

At 1pm, the director of the documentary, Graham Meriwether, will introduce Farmers For America and then we will watch the documentary.

At 2:15pm, we'll have a panel discussion with Kentucky’s own Mike Lewis, a pioneering hemp farmer who is featured in the documentary and is a project manager for the University of Kentucky’s AgrAbility program which enhances the quality of life for people who farm with disabilities. Also invited panelists are Dr. John Strang, Chelsey Schlosnagel of Dutch Creek Farm and Scott Gowers of Rolling Fork Organic Farm.
